A RECENT HOMEOWNER PROJECT

See what a clearer start looks like

Real project details help turn a vague idea into a useful contractor conversation. Here is one recent example from an Atlantic Canadian homeowner.

FIELD NOTE

Timberlea, NS

In Timberlea, a homeowner who had been sourcing contractors on their own wanted a clearer, coordinated path to an upgraded home heating solution, and Align stepped in to reduce the fragmented process.

ONE SIMPLE PATH

You do not need to solve the whole project today

Start with what you know. Align helps make the next step clearer before contractor time or financial decisions are involved.

01

Tell us about your home

Share the problem, upgrade, location, and timing. You do not need technical answers or a finished plan.

02

We review the project

Align looks at the useful details, speaks with you, and helps clarify what the project may actually require.

03

We organize the right conversations

When the project is a fit, we provide useful context to an established contractor and can explain possible financing or incentive pathways.

04

You choose what happens next

Review the contractor's proposal and any third-party financing terms. There is no pressure or obligation from Align.

A HUMAN START

A real person reviews what you send

I started Align because homeowners were being asked to understand contractors, incentives, financing, and technical choices all at once. My job is to help make the project understandable, gather the useful information, and get you into the right conversation without pressure.

You do not need to know exactly what you need before you contact us.

Straight answers

Questions homeowners usually ask before starting

The short version: the Align review has no homeowner fee, you do not need to know exactly what you need, and you stay in control.

No. Your initial home review and Align's project coordination come with no Align fee for homeowners or obligation. Contractor work and third-party financing have their own costs and terms. Align may receive compensation from a contractor or financing provider, and we disclose that relationship before a referral when it applies.

IF FINANCING IS PART OF THE PLAN

Understand the project before choosing how to pay for it

A clear project scope makes a financing conversation more useful. Align organizes the project; an independent financing professional or provider explains its application, approval, rates, costs, and terms.

1. Scope

Clarify the upgrade and likely contractor work.

2. Review

A third party reviews available financing options with you.

3. Decide

Compare the full terms and choose whether to proceed.

Align is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Financing is provided by independent third parties and is subject to their application, approval, rates, and terms. If a referral relationship or compensation applies, Align will disclose it before making the referral.

When You Do Not Qualify for a Rebate, You May Still Have Options

The Goal Is Affordability, Not Just Approval. A lot of homeowners get stuck thinking the win is getting approved for a rebate. But the real goal is not just rebate approval. The real goal is making the home more affordable, more comfortable, and more efficient without putting the homeowner under more pressure.
